Grown in Ghana

It starts with the plantain.

We use fresh plantain from the farm, checked by hand when it arrives. Green and firm becomes Lightly Salted. Ripe and yellow becomes Sweet.

Our story

A Kumasi snack, made properly.

Plantain is part of everyday life in Ghana. We wanted to turn it into a snack you could carry anywhere, without losing what makes it good.

Elomzy Snacks and Beverages started selling Sakal in January 2026 from our production facility at Tech Ayigya, Kumasi. We kept the recipe short: plantain, vegetable oil and salt. Then we built the routine around it, with food safety checks, trained staff and FDA approval.

Today, Sakal comes in two flavours and travels by the box to customers across Ghana.
